December 2019 Update for PPCF Current Educational Opportunities for December and January

This update provides Biblical Creation meeting information happening in the Front Range of Colorado.  From what I have been able to discover, there are no planned seminars or presentations planned for the Front Range by any outside regional or national Creation group during the months of December 2019 and January 2020.  Information for upcoming educational meetings by local Biblical Creation groups are as follows.

December meeting for PPCF is on Saturday, December 14th at our Faith Evangelical Free Church (FEFC) location on the NE side of Colorado Springs.  Faith EFC is located at 6065 Oakwood Blvd. in Colorado Springs.  Our meeting time is 1PM to 2:45 PM.  Our speaker for December is Don Hartlaub, who is a leadership committee member for PPCF.  Don handles the administration of our PPCF website.  The title of Don’s presentation is "Abiogenesis: Possible or Impossible?"  Our website contains a poster which provides both Don’s background information and details of this presentation.

December meeting for Denver Society of Creation (DSOC) is on December 5th (Thursday night) at 7 PM.  The location is Ascension Lutheran Church, 1701 W Caley Ave, Littleton, CO.  Fred Williams is the presenter and the topic is “Information Theory and the Demise of Darwinism”.  Fred spoke at the November meeting of PPCF on the same topic.  If you missed this excellent presentation, you might consider attending this meeting.

We do not have current information for Rocky Mountain Creation Fellowship (RMCF) or for Northeast Colorado Creation Fellowship (NECG) December meetings.  For RMCF I suggest checking the link on our website for any future updates by that group.  For information on NECG contact Paul Feltz at paulfeltz@gmail.com.

Bruce Malone (in January) is the director of "Search for the Truth" ministry.  He will be coming to Colorado to make 3 separate presentations at local Creation organizations during January.  Each talk will be different so that three opportunities exist to hear Bruce.  Bruce is the co-author of three separate devotionals, which are excellent and could be used as discussion starters with older adolescents and youth.

On January 11th, Saturday, 1 PM, Bruce will be at the PPCF meeting at our Mesa Hills Bible Church (MHBC) location.  The address for MHBC is 615W. Uintah St., Colorado Springs.  His topic will be "How to Fold a Rock."  Details of this presentation are provided here, and a poster of this talk is currently available here.

     On January 9th, Thursday night,
7 PM, Bruce will be at NECG (Ft. Morgan).  His topic will be "A Matter of Time."  Topic Description:  An old earth is the non-negotiable core of evolution.  Using stories and demonstrations, this talk explains how dating methods work and shows why they give erroneously ancient results.  Please contact Paul Feltz, who leads that group, for more details.

     On January 10th, Friday night,
7 PM, Bruce will be at the RMCF (Littleton).  His topic that evening will be "Blind to the Obvious"  Topic Description:  The very laws of science are designed so we will know we have a Creator.  So how can so many people be blind to the obvious?   Meeting location is Littleton Baptist Church, 1400 W. Caley Ave, Littleton, CO.  We have a link to RMCF here.

Churches teaching Biblical Creation

If you know of a church that may be offering Biblical Creation teaching, please forward this information to the contact link below.  Please provide the presenter’s name, church & address, date(s), meeting time and some details as to what will be discussed.  Please note that we will only provide information in this update on those educational opportunities that hold to a "young-earth, Biblical Creation" perspective.
